Cold Rolled Frame
Cold rolled portal frames consist of strong, lightweight C-sections and Z Purlins that are fully galvanized. As shown in the picture each section is stamped with a unique code that eases the erecting of the building.
Our main frames, purlins and side rails are fully nut and bolted together using pre drilled holes at the factory (Not tek screwed together) This results in a strong frame that is straightforward to erect.
All frame work is CE Marked, manufactured to BS EN 10346:2009 Fe E39G-Z275 in the UK and engineered following (BS5950-5) and (BS6399 Part 2) in the UK. This takes into account the connections of the steel work, snow and wind loads, and loadings onto the concrete base. Our calculations are generally accepted by local building control. However, more in depth calculations can be obtained if required.
