With over 20 combined years of experience of designing and manufacturing portal frames and kit buildings, Andrew and Marcus founded A M Steel Buildings Ltd in 2021.

As a small business, we aim to provide you with personalized service and a high-quality product. With many options available, we can create the perfect steel building to fit your needs. We specialize in bespoke buildings, so you can be sure that your project will be unique and tailored to you.

We have a hands on approach with a comprehensive experience of surveying sites, setting foundations, fabricating, manufacturing and designing portal frames.
​
We use a range of software packages that allow us to design and manufacture a wide variety of portal frames. Examples of the software we use are:
- Sketch Up.
- Tekla Tedds.
- Tekla Structures.
- Specialist cold rolled portal frame engineering software. This helps us design our buildings to an industrial standard following (BS5950-5) and (BS6399 Part 2).

All the portal frames are designed and manufactured in the United Kingdom, therefore, you can be rest assured an excellent quality building will be designed and manufactured which also follow all the strict regulations the United Kingdom has in place.
